IDA Power is the General Contractor for all demolition, environmental remediation, and earthwork at this 1,200-acre former US Steel site located in Bucks County, PA. Among other responsibilities, IDA managed all negotiations and interactions with PADEP, and USEPA related to the property transfer, permitting, Buyer-Seller Agreement, Prospective Purchaser Agreement, work plans, and site remediation plans.

IDA Power identified this property for a redevelopment partner and led the due diligence effort for their acquisition of the site. IDA Power’s ongoing responsibilities include environmental remediation, extensive demolition, fill import, placement, and compaction of the approximately 2.5-million cubic yards of fill material required for redevelopment.
